Running Time: 95 mins

Fly-fishing for grayling is a different sport then river trout fishing, if only because the best of grayling season is in the late autumn and winter, outside the trout season. But grayling are shoal fish, trout are not. Grayling feed in open water whereas trout tend to lie close to cover. Grayling will tolerate far more disturbance and bad casting than trout. Yet grayling are not foolish fish, and sometimes they take some catching! In this volume Malcolm Greenhaigh ties some flies ancient and modern that are specially good for catching grayling, and he takes us to his own rivers to catch some ‘ladies of the stream’
