In this two part programme we cover the season from March to November of Salmon fishing on the River Tweed covering 5 of the most famous and beautiful beats. The ghillies pass on a wealth of knowledge on how to successfully fish their beats giving advice on how to make the best choice of tackle and flies as well as how to fish the pools to become competent in the art of Salmon fishing.
We continue through the season with Celia and Geoff fishing in the Autumn. In spring Geoff is joined by Sophie Allisstone who goes salmon fishing for the first time with great success.
In this programme we fish in October, November and March in differing water levels and conditions giving instruction not only to the newcomer to salmon fishing but also useful information for the experienced salmon fisher.
